2020 All-State Flute Masterclasses

Flute Players,

If you are planning on auditioning for All-State this year, the audition process will look much different than in previous years. Spencer Katz, flutist and instructor, will be giving FREE All-State help clinics every Tuesday until the week of the auditions to help you prepare.

Each week Mr. Katz will provide tailored warm-ups and exercises to help as you prepare for your audition as well as cover the audition requirements, recording tips, anxiety-coping strategies, scales, and etudes.

This class will be offered over ZOOM and you are welcome to ask questions, perform for the group to get feedback, participate in our group warm-ups, or just simply listen and observe!

You will find the links to the classes below. Be sure you’ve downloaded the ZOOM app to whichever device you will be accessing the class from.

Have your flute and music ready to go when the class starts! See you there!
